10:00 AM – 6:00 PM - Student & Senior Citizens Day At MIACS, Tropical Park
Educational Lectures, Product Vendors, Information Demonstrations, Tropical Park

Students stroll the grounds of the Agriculture and Cattle Show to learn first-hand about the business of agriculture and livestock. Kids Zone and food and beverage vendors open beginning at Noon. Special student lectures on ecological subjects and sustainability in our lecture tent.

Miami Dade Park & Recreation Department Director, Jack Kardys opens the MIACS by introducing Florida Agriculture Commissioner Charles Bronson and assembled dignitaries.  Conveying the importance of the agri-business industry to South Florida will be District 10 Commissioner Senator Javier Souto, District 9 Commissioner Dennis Moss, Asst. Prt of Miami Director of Maritime Services, Juan Kuryla, Aviation Director Jose Abreu and Chair of the Board of GMCVB, Gene Prescott.

Learn from our sponsors and vendors the importance of the agri-business and livestock raising. The Kids Zone will have free slides, rock wall climbing for the youngsters. Continuous musical entertainment will be provided on the stage. Purchase arts, crafts, plants, food and beverages from our product vendors.
